Who We Are
Dynamic Health Systems Initiative (DHSI) is a non-governmental, not for profit organization based in the Kingdom of Eswatini established in 2016. We have expertise in public health programming which includes service delivery support and assessments, laboratory systems, pharmaceuticals and supply chain management (PSCM), community systems strengthening (CSS), e-health, quality management systems (QMS) implementation, human resources for health (HRH) and monitoring, evaluation, research & learning (MERL).
DHSI implements its projects using improvement science methodologies, ensuring efficiency and on-going institutional learning. DHSI subscribes to the global social development agenda, deliberately aligning its organizational goals with the consolidated Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 on health: "To ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages".
Our Vision and Mission
The vision of DHSI is to become a leading thought partner in health systems strengthening in Africa and beyond.
DHSI’s mission is to support upcoming and established health systems to develop resilience in the face of unpredictable and rapidly changing disease epidemiology. DHSI utilises a corporate approach that involves a collaborative network of health systems and policy consultants offering context relevance for improved implementation of health systems strengthening projects.
Continuous Stakeholder Engagement: we use participatory approaches to identify challenges, formulate solutions and foster collective buy-in and ownership
Technology Driven: we utilize efficiencies of e-health and other mobile technology platforms to improve day to day operations and data quality
Evidence Based: we employ continuous learning to collate, process and utilize data to inform decision making and interventions
Knowledge Management: we value the documentation of lessons learnt and best practices informed by both our implementation as well as other country/organizational experiences
